Science and Technology Policy Information System (STPIS)

The system aims to provide the DOST employees and the public about the latest policies and governance created and is being implemented by PCIEERD.

Policy

Policy refers to those plans, positions, and guidelines of government which influence decisions by government (e.g., policies in support of sustainable economic development or policies to enhance access to government services).

Just send an email to IT admin requesting for your account on STPIS.

How to use the STPIS?

Once you logged in on STPIS, looked for the button Help File located on the Main Menu, there you can see the step by step process on how to do things in STPIS.

What is the purpose of STPIS?

The Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (PCIEERD) is one of the sectoral planning councils of the DOST, with regards to that, the Agency came up to the idea of developing a system for the Policies being developed within the Agency which is called STPIS. STPIS aims to inform the DOST employees and the public about the new policies that are created and being implemented by the DOST-PCIEERD.

Who can access and upload to STPIS?

All the registered users and has the right permissions can access and upload files to STPIS.

Who can see my uploads and comments?

Those who have permissions granted by the IT admin may see the uploaded files and policy comments.

Can I delete my comment?

As of now, you can't. But if you really want to, you may drop an email to the IT admin containing the screenshot of comment and the reason why you want to delete that specific comment.
